Communication and Mass Media Complete
(1920-present) Abstracts, and some full text, of articles from over 300 journals, as well as handbooks and recent encyclopedias, in communication & mass media. Also covers monographs, conference proceedings, working papers, and other "grey literature" in the field.
Sociological Abstracts
(1974-present) Provides references for the latest research in sociology and related disciplines in the social and behavioral sciences. Contains citations and abstracts for articles in over 2,700 US and international journals and other sources such as conference papers, books, and dissertations. Updated monthly.
Global Newsbank
Articles cover politics, economics, culture, business, science, technology, and the environment from Africa, Asia, Europe, the former Soviet Union, the Pacific Rim, Central and South America, and the Middle East. All articles are in English and are from translated broadcasts, news agency transmissions, wire services, newspapers, magazines, and government documents.

VI. Hints for BOOK REVIEWS
- Academic Search Premier -- Search for the book title along with the keyword "review." (Ex. "what's the matter with kansas" and review)
- JSTOR -- Select Advanced Search, Narrow Your Search To: "Review." Search by book title or author.
- Lexis/Nexis -- *On-Campus Use Only. Choose Guided News Search. Step 1: Select a News Category -- choose "Arts & Sports News." Step 2: Select a News Source -- choose "Book, movie, music & play reviews."
Step 3: Enter Search Terms -- type book title or author name. Step 4: Narrow to a Specific Date Range -- make sure dates match date of publication for the book.

VIII. HELP
I found an article but it's not full-text. I do not see it in AUC's Library Catalog. Can I get it online?
E-Journal Finder
This tool helps you find out which databases contain which journals. (Example: A search for Journal of International Affairs reveals that both ABI/Inform Global and Academic Search Premier have the journal, full-text online).
The library does not have the articles I need.
AUC Library Document Delivery Service
Fill
out the "Journal Articles Request Form" to order documents not
available at AUC. Normal turnaround time for requests ranges from 2
days to 2 weeks.
