  • Lexis/Nexis -- *On-Campus Use Only. Provides access to international news sources including government & political news, legal news, and country profiles. Newspapers are updated several times daily, and wire services hourly.
  • JSTOR -- a full-text archival database consisting of the complete backfiles of many scholarly journals. It does NOT include publications within the last 2 to 5 years.
  • Academic Search Premier -- a multidisciplinary index to over 8,175 publications. Coverage includes over 3,600 peer-reviewed scholarly journals. Full-text is available for many publications. Updated daily.
  • Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) Country Reports and Profiles -- provides objective and timely analysis and forecasts of the political, economic, and business environment in many countries. Country Reports are written monthly or quarterly; Country Profiles are written annually. Select Egypt from the menu.

  • Academic Search Premier -- Search for the book title along with the keyword "review." (Ex. "what's the matter with kansas" and review)
  • Lexis/Nexis -- *On-Campus Use Only. Choose Guided News Search. Step 1: Select a News Category -- choose "Arts & Sports News." Step 2: Select a News Source -- choose "Book, movie, music & play reviews." Step 3: Enter Search Terms -- type book title or author name. Step 4: Narrow to a Specific Date Range -- make sure dates match date of publication for the book.
  • JSTOR -- Select Advanced Search, Narrow Your Search To: "Review." Search by book title or author.
