site: restricts results to websites in the given domain (help site:www.google.com)
related: lists web pages that are similar to a page (related: www.m-w.com)
link: lists web pages that link to a particular page (link: www.auceypt.edu)
allintitle: returns only results with query words in title (allintitle: google search)
allinurl: returns only results with query words in url (allinurl: google help)
+ includes common words such as “when” and “how” in search
_ eliminates words from search (bass –music)
~ searches for synonyms (~food ~facts)
OR retrieves results that contain either word A or B (vacation London or Paris)

RLG SHARES: Onsite Access to Member Libraries

AUC faculty and students have onsite access to major research libraries and institutions as part of RLG/SHARES.

SHARES onsite access permits AUC faculty and students to use collections and services at other SHARES Libraries with the same degree of access accorded their peers at the host institution. Onsite-access does not grant borrowing privileges. See procedures for onsite privileges.
